Glenda Browne has a Bachelor Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from Sydney University. She is the founder, senior clinician and director of Glenda Browne Speech Pathology. Glenda had worked with children and families for over four decades,  with over 30 of these years  being in the Macarthur area. Since graduation, she has maintained  membership of Speech Pathology Australia  and Glenda is a  Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. In 2017 Glenda was recognised by Speech Pathology Australia for 40 years continuous membership. 

Glenda is an inaugural and current member of  Macarthur  Private Practitioners Network Group which is linked with Speech Pathology Australia. Glenda has special interests and experience in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder and  Developmental Language Disorders and associated Learning Difficulties.  Glenda has specific training in a range of programs including Lindamood Auditory Discrimination in Depth Program, Visualising and Verbalising, Secret Agent’s Society, SCERTS, SCIP, Key Word Sign, Lidcombe Programme, Derbyshire Language Program, Nuffield Program.

Glenda strongly believes in the importance of developing intervention which is individually tailored to the child and family. 

She is committed to the development of the profession of speech pathology and keenly supports and mentors junior clinicians at her practice. 


 

Gabrielle Bent:  Gabrielle has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) and is a practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia. Gabrielle commenced her professional career at Royal Far West Children's  Health Scheme and later worked with a mixed pediatric and adult caseload at Ryde Hospital. Gabrielle now has 28 years experience in Speech Pathology.

 

 

 

 

 


Laura Pullin has a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) with Honours Class I and is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist. Laura studied at the University of Newcastle and began her professional career in the Macarthur region in 2017.  

Laura is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and Private Practitioners Network Group, an associated group in Macarthur. Laura has a special interest in speech sound disorders. Her Honours project, relating to the development of speech sounds, is currently awaiting approval to be published.  

Laura has experience with paediatric caseloads ranging from speech to language, literacy, fluency and voice disorders. She has expanded her knowledge through webinars and conducting private study. She is keen to remain up to date with the latest evidence to continually better her practice.  


Janelle Gardiner has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology). She is a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia and a member of the Private Practitioners network group in Macarthur. Janelle has 30 years of experience in Speech Pathology since graduating in 1987 and commenced her professional career working in the Macarthur Area Health Service. Janelle has worked with clients of all ages, from infants through to aged care but since 1990 she has worked only with children, both individually as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

From 1998 through to 2013, Janelle worked in her own Private Practice while raising her three children before moving into the Macarthur region and commencing at Glenda Browne Speech Pathology in 2013. 

Janelle has a special interest and expertise in the area of language based learning difficulties and literacy, and has trained in the Lindamood Auditory Discrimination-in-depth Program. 

Janelle enjoys working with children and their families to assist them in developing functional communication skills so that they reach their full learning potential and become effective communicators for life.  


Kareena Hobson has a Bachelor Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from The University of Sydney. She became a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia in 2012 and ever since has maintained membership and worked in the local area. She is also a member of the Macarthur Private Practitioners Network Group.

Kareena has gained extensive experience working as a Speech Pathologist with children and their families in both private and not-for-profit settings. She has early intervention experience and has worked with clients of all ages, from infants through to aged care and has previously worked as part of a multidisciplinary team, as part of a transdisciplinary team and as a Key Worker.

Since 2014 she has worked only with children. She has experience working with Developmental Language Disorders, Learning Difficulties, literacy difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, stuttering, speech sound disorders and voice disorders. Kareena has special interests in stuttering, speech sound disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Kareena is certified to provide the Hanen ‘More Than Words’ Program for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Social Communication Difficulties. She has specific training in Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display (PODD), The Lidcombe Program, The Spalding Method, Voicecraft and Basic Key Word Sign. 

Kareena enjoys working with children and families to help them achieve their best and believes in family centred practice and customising therapy to meet the needs of children and their families.
