
As a client of Glenda Browne Speech Pathology all clients and their families/carers should expect to:
- Be treated with respect, dignity and courtesy regardless of age, disability, gender, cultural and linguistic background, sexual orientation, marital status, socio-economic status and religious or spiritual beliefs
- Have the right to privacy and confidentiality, protected within the limits imposed by law and duty of care
- Have fair and equal access to Glenda Browne Speech Pathology Services. Client’s access to services should be decided only on the basis of need and the capacity of the service to meet that need.
- Have accessible access to information and best practice clinical intervention options and be involved in decision making regarding these options
- Receive services that comply with appropriate standards of professionalism, competency and accountability.
- Clients have the right to provide feedback or complaints about the service they are receiving without fear of retribution
